1. Sponsor
The Mayfest Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Mayfest LLC (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
Employees, organizers, and immediate family members of Sponsor are not eligible to win.
3. Entry Period
The Sweepstakes begins on May 1st (12:00AM ET) and ends on May 7th (11:59PM ET) (“Entry Period”).
4. How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
Participants may enter the Sweepstakes in one of the following ways:
- Purchase Entry: Purchase a Mayfest ticket during the Entry Period.
- Free Entry Method: Sign up for the Mayfest newsletter during the Entry Period.
Bonus / Retroactive Entries
- Individuals who previously purchased a ticket or signed up for the newsletter prior to May 1 will automatically receive one (1) entry.
Entry Limit
Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry.
5. Prize(s)
A total of ten (10) winners will be selected. Each winner will receive:
- Mayfest branded drink koozie
- Exclusive “Founders” Mayfest sticker (limited edition, not for sale)
Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent will be provided.
6. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.
7. Winner Notification & Claim
Winners will be notified via email.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:
Winners must be physically present at the Mayfest festival grounds on May 16th between 12:00PM and 8:00PM ET (no ticket required for entry to claim area) to claim their prize.
Failure to claim the prize during the designated time at the festival may result in forfeiture.
8. General Conditions
- Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes.
- Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process.
9. Release and Limitations of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance/use of any prize.
10. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy and may be used for marketing communications.
11. Governing Law
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
