Getting There & Planning

Tucked away in Remus, Michigan, Mayfest takes place on the nearly 100-year-old May family farm.

Your ticket unlocks the map. The full address will be sent directly to you.

Please note: public transportation doesn’t make it out to our little pocket of magic, you’ll need to drive or carpool with a fellow festival friend to join us.

The gates open and the music begins May 16th at Noon EST.

For our travelers and those who simply can’t wait to start the fun, Mayfarm Events LLC is hosting a cozy pre-party the night before. We kindly encourage a $5 donation to help support this bonus evening of sound and celebration.  The pre-party is not associated with Mayfest LLc.

Mayfest dances on, rain or shine. Please come prepared for whatever the skies may bring (ponchos, umbrellas, boots — you know the drill!).

If the weather gets a little too wild, we’ll gather everyone safely inside the barn or ask you to retreat to your vehicles until the storm passes.

Everyone you came to see will already be here, no scrolling required. 😉

Please note that we’re in a rural area with limited service. Some carriers work better than others, but reception is not guaranteed.

First-Timers & Vibe

Mayfest is a small, intimate event. We pride ourselves on community and responsibility. Everyone (even guests) are expected to bring the vibes and a midwesterner kind greeting to strangers. At this time it is a limited space event. Meaning, unless you’ve been referred by another Mayfest goer. The event is closed to randos for now.

Think good music, open skies, and even better people.

If you love dancing freely, sharing smiles with strangers-turned-friends, and soaking in feel-good energy, you’ll feel right at home here.

Not at all! Go all-out in stars and shimmer, or show up in your favorite tee and boots. The only requirement is that you feel like you.

Absolutely! As long as you’re a referred guest or a seasoned Mayfest veteran, you’re in.

Arrive solo and you’ll orbit right into new friends. Mayfest is open-hearted and inclusive, with a place for everyone under our starlit skies.

Tickets & Entry

Your pass covers festival entry, two stages of music and good vibes, and a camping site where you can unwind beneath the stars.

Planning to bring an RV? Be sure to purchase an RV ticket to claim your space.

All ticket sales are final, non-refundable and non-transferable.

We promise it’ll be worth every magical moment!

For the most part, re-entry isn’t permitted. But we understand that emergencies happen. Just reach out, we’ll review each situation with care.

Mayfest kicks off at noon on May 16th, with music, workshops, and magic flowing into the wee hours.

Please plan to begin your clean-up at 12PM on May 17th, as we’ll be wrapping things up and asking everyone to depart by 1PM.

No!

Kids absolutely are welcome!

Just a heads-up: after sunset the festival takes a slightly cheeky turn, so guests under 21 need a grown-up with them at all times

Camping & Accommodations

YES! Bring your tent, fairy lights, and all the gear you need to create the coziest, most magical campsite under the stars.

Note: RVs, campers, busses, and other large vehicles require an RV Pass

We’ve got three magical camping options to suit every vibe:

  1. Pines Camping  – A little more rowdy than your average campsite. Expect high energy, music into the late night, and plenty of festival magic.

  2. Orchard Camping – Need a relaxing spot to unwind at the end of the night? Pitch your tent in the orchard and enjoy some peace under the stars.

  3. RV Camping – Bringing a rig? We’ve got you covered. Just grab an RV pass and park in your designated space. (Heads-up: no water or gas hookups available!)

To make the most of our magical camping spaces, cars are limited to the designated parking area, with the exception of Orchard Camping.

You can drive to your campsite to drop off your gear when you arrive and pick it up on Sunday, but during the festival, all vehicles must return to the parking area.

For safety and to keep our magical farm grounds protected, absolutely no open fires are allowed.

The only exception: small Coleman style propane or butane grills for cooking.

YES! Find your peaceful nook in the Orchard Camping area.

We’ll tuck you as far from the music as possible, but for extra dreamy nights under the stars, we recommend bringing earplugs. Your sleep (and your dreams) will thank you!

Food, Water & Facilities

YesFar Out Food Truck will be on-site for tasty treats, but we recommend bringing your own meals and snacks too - just in case your festival appetite strikes!

The food truck will be open during the evening on the 16th, and for breakfast on the 17th.   Operating hours are limited.  Be sure to bring snacks for those late night cravings!

Yes! We absolutely encourage you to bring your favorite snacks and beverages. BYOB is totally allowed and encouraged. Fuel your festival fun however you like!

  • BYOB is permitted

  • Please drink responsibly

  • You are solely responsible for alcohol you bring and consume

  • Supplying alcohol to minors is strictly prohibited

  • Mayfest reserves the right to cut you off and/or confiscate any alcohol for any reason.

  • Intoxicated, unsafe, or disruptive behavior will result in removal

  • Valid ID may be required

Yes! Fresh well water will be available to keep you hydrated as you dance, explore, and soak up the festival magic.

We’ve got port-a-potties ready for your festival needs! No sinks or flushing toilets, but plenty of charm and starlit vibes.

The festival takes place outdoors, so accessibility depends on the ability to traverse uneven terrain.

Don’t worry, we’ve got accessible port-a-potties and a barn stage with a solid floor that’s wheelchair-friendly.

Camping is rural and we do not have the ability to charge mobility devices.

Safety & Community Care

Your safety is our top priority! We have an on-site nurse and carefully prepare the grounds ahead of the festival to make them as safe as possible.

Onsite medical support may be available, but is not guaranteed. Attendees are responsible for their own medical needs and medications.

Look for anyone with a radio, they can reach our on-site nurse or call emergency services if needed.

Don’t hesitate to ask; we’ve got your back!

Mayfest is built on community and care. If you see something concerning, speak up!

Anyone violating our guidelines, posing a safety risk, or engaging in violence or inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave and may not be invited back. Second chances are offered at our discretion.
