Lineup Philosophy
What started as a backyard hang quickly grew into a gathering built around one simple idea: give artists the space to be heard. MayFest was created by artists, for artists, especially those still carving their path and looking for a stage that truly sees them.
Each year, we thoughtfully curate lineups that span genres, disciplines, and experience levels, letting performers show up as their most authentic selves. We don't box artists into time slots or molds: we listen, we collaborate, and we build the weekend around their stories. That care is why so many performers return, and why our community keeps coming back curious, open, and ready to discover something new.
